Connor began studying Staging Intimacy under Jeanine Thompson at The Ohio State University, in a first-of-its-kind course, one of two courses at an accredited university in the United States dedicated to Staging Intimacy.

Professionally, Connor uses methods developed by Jeanine Thompson and Theatrical Intimacy Education for preparing actors to perform the intimacy and for choreographing the intimate action. Connor has choreographed the intimacy in the following plays: The Seagull.

Connor continued his education on Staging Intimacy by taking classes with Theatrical Intimacy Education, including:

  • Best Practices

  • Intimacy Coordination for Film and TV

  • Foundations in Race, Intimacy, & Consent

  • Consent in the Acting Classroom

  • Intimacy Choreography

In Spring 2022, Connor will be assisting Jeanine Thompson in teaching a new course on Staging Intimacy at The Ohio State University.
