Connor began studying Staging Intimacy under Jeanine Thompson at The Ohio State University, in a first-of-its-kind course, one of two courses at an accredited university in the United States dedicated to Staging Intimacy.

Professionally, Connor uses methods developed by Jeanine Thompson and Theatrical Intimacy Education for preparing actors to perform the intimacy and for choreographing the intimate action. Connor has choreographed the intimacy in the following plays: The Seagull and Rancho Mirage.
